In 2001 New Pride Apartments became the first residential facilities constructed on campus in over thirty years. They were also the first on-campus apartments available to A&M-Commerce students. The apartments house student athletes and various student organizations, in addition to serving the general student body. The apartments are southwest of the Rayburn Student Center and can be accessed via Walnut Street.
