Description
The reverse side of a black and white photograph of General Studies - Earth Science 141 students along with Dr. James Ruffner, physics instructor, excavating a giant bison at Lake Tawakoni - Iron Bridge Dam research site. Working at night illuminated by car headlights, they are seen using their assortment of field tools to delicately uncover the fossilized remains. Field crew was supervised by Professor Hazel A. Peterson, Earth Science Department faculty. [handwritten inscription] G.
