A black and white photograph of a small alligator or marine reptile fossil excavation from the Lake Tawakoni - Iron Bridge Dam research site. Various tools used for excavation, such as a knives, chisels, and brushes are visible. The "field crew" for this paleontological dig consisted of students under the instruction of Professor Hazel A. Peterson, Earth Sciences Department faculty.
