[handwritten inscription] Book signing - Dr. Ernestine Linck, wife of ETSU Professor Emeritus Charles Linck, autographs a copy of "The Amazing Etta Booth Mayo" at the 3-1 book signing held in the Heritage House. The Lincks have written the book on the wife of ETSU founder William L. Mayo. Also participating in the book signing were 1st lady Marilyn Morris who wrote the dedication and Dr. Ralph Goodwin, ETSU History professor, who contributed the forward and has done research on the Mayos and early years of ETNC. Limited copies of the book on sale for $10, are available from the Alumni Office. Proceeds go to the Alumni Association.
