The reverse side of a black and white photograph of Homecoming King and Queen, Bill Allison and Cindy Ray. In 1989 the student body elected the university's first ever homecoming king. The winner was Bill Allison, a history major from Sulphur Springs. The 1989 homecoming queen was Cindy Ray, an agriculture and education major from Greenville. [handwritten inscription] King & Queen. For the 1st time a king as well as a queen presided over homecoming festivities. Bill Allison, Sulphur Springs Senior history major, was selected homecoming King. Greenville junior Cindy Ray was selected as the homecoming queen. The Ag and Edu major is the daughter of William and Donna Ray of Greenville. Allison is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Allison II.
