Description
A black and white negative of a Homecoming Parade float entitled "Spirit of St. Louis" created by Kappa Alpha Order Fraternity. The theme for the year was "The Roaring Twenties" and this float won first place in the Fraternity division and the overall grand prize. The Kappa Alphas won a total of $100 with the float depicting Charles Lindberg's flight across the Atlantic Ocean in 1927 in the "Spirit of St. Louis." Pictured left to right are Ronnie Kifer, Parker Jones, Shirley Wood, Tommy Freeman, Ray Weems, and Mike Hom.
