Heating Plant and Machine Shop

The Heating Plant was a reinforced brick, fireproof building with a prominent brick chimney that provided steam heat via underground tunnels to the dormitories and other campus buildings. A machine shop was added to the west side of the building by the 1930s for industrial education students. The shop was later used for Facilities and Maintenance Offices.
