Science and Industrial Arts Hall

The 44th Legislature made an appropriation of $200,000 for the construction of the Science and Industrial Arts Hall to replace Industrial Hall, a Mayo building. The new building originally housed chemistry, physics, agriculture, biology, home economics, and industrial education. A 30,000 square foot addition was constructed in 1968. The building was renovated in 1980 for the physics, biology, and chemistry departments. The Science and Industrial Arts Hall was located east of present-day Frank Young Education North. The location is now used as a parking lot.
