West Halls

West Halls were constructed by President Gee to help the campus deal with an increasing student population. West Halls included McNeal, Leberman, Hall, Freeman, Workman, Mitchell, Marshall, Cowling, Hart, Petty, Stone, Lutz, McGill, Phillips, Walker, Acker, Bledsoe, Neu, Fling, Webster, Wray, Craddock, and the G-Halls. Many of these halls were later used for family housing. Only Fling, Webster, Wray, Neu, Bledsoe, and Craddock remain. West Halls were located in the southwest corner of campus on the site of present-day Pride Rock, Phase II, and Phase III dormitories.
